In Sri Lanka, thousands of people continue to live with preventable or treatable vision problems — not because help doesn’t exist, but because it is often too far away, too expensive, or out of reach.
THE REALITY IN SRI LANKA
Many families continue to face financial hardship following the economic crisis. When basic needs are a struggle, eye care is often delayed.
Insufficient funds remain a major reason people change or delay treatment.

WHY THIS MATTERS
For Children
Poor vision affects learning, confidence and participation in class. Early detection can change the course of their education.
For Adults
Clear vision supports safe work, productivity, income and the ability to provide for their families.

Treatable vision problems can lead to loss of independence, isolation and reduced quality of life.

We will set clear, measurable targets every year, aim higher, reach further and create greater impact. Whether we achieve every target or not, we will remain transparent, learn from each year, and continue pushing forward.
